- 1.0 SPAN credit from:
- SPAN 1000Y: Introduction to Spanish
- SPAN 1001H: Introduction to Spanish I
- SPAN 1002H: Introduction to Spanish II*
- SPAN 2001H: Intermediate Spanish I
- SPAN2002H: Intermediate Spanish II**
- 1.5 GDST credits consisting of:
- GDST 3760Y: Bolivian Seminar
- GDST 3830H: Field Course in Andean Community Development
- 1.0 SPAN credit consisting of:
- SPAN 2501H: Advanced Intermediate Spanish I
- SPAN 2502H: Advanced Intermediate Spanish II
- 0.5 additional credit in:
- GDST 3891H or 0.5 SPAN credit in addition to the above
* Students whose level of fluency in Spanish is judged to exceed the level of SPAN 1000Y are exempt from this requirement
