With Trent’s Exploration Year in the Sciences, you can sample courses from up to 10 different programs in your first year. This flexible option lets you discover your passions and strengths before deciding on a major. No matter what program you choose, you can complete your degree in four years. Plus, you'll have access to Academic Advisors who can help you explore your interests and map out your academic journey. By the end of your first year, you’ll be ready to choose a major that’s right for you.

Start in the Honours Science Exploration Year in first year and move into the science program of your choice in second year – Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Psychology...which major will you choose?

Requirements
If you are coming straight from high school in Ontario or are a recent grad, the general admission requirements are:
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)
- A minimum of six Grade 12 4U or 4M courses, including program specific prerequisites
- A minimum 70% overall final average
- ENG 4U with a minimum of 60%
