Community invited to experience first-hand what state-of-the-art new athletics centre has to offer

The new Athletics Centre at the Trent Community Sport & Recreation Centre invites all members of the community to join us for our free Open House Week from September 10-16, 2012 and explore everything this state-of-the-art facility has to offer.

Designed to give the community a sneak peek at what is available to all Athletics Centre members, the free Open House Week features opportunities for visitors to work out in the cardio loft and weight room, try a group fitness class or go for a swim. Guests can also try out the indoor rowing/paddling tank and the indoor climbing wall, play squash, and more.

In addition to all of the activities listed above, Open House Week will also provide members of the community with the chance to meet the friendly staff at the AC, take a tour of the new, modern facility, and learn more about registered programs, including swimming lessons and Judo, as well as new offerings such as Drop Off Your Tot and Parents’ Night Out. All registered programs get underway the week of September 17 and are open to members and non-members.

Open House Week is free and open to everyone. Registration is not required. For more information, including group fitness class and pool schedules, visit www.trentu.ca/athletics
