Trent University Holiday Hours in Peterborough and Oshawa

Trent University Holiday Hours in Peterborough and Oshawa

Holiday greetings from the Trent University community

Most academic and administrative operations at Trent University in Peterborough and Oshawa will close for winter holidays on Friday, December 21, 2012. The Oshawa campus will close at noon and the Symons Campus in Peterborough will close at the end of the business day. Both campuses will reopen on Thursday, January 3, 2013.

College residences close for Peterborough campus students on Thursday, December 20 at 11 a.m. and reopen on Sunday, January 6, 2013, at 12 p.m.

Classes resume Monday, January 7, 2013.

Bata Library

Bata Library will close beginning Friday, December 21, 2012 at 5 p.m. and reopen on Thursday, January 3, 2013, at 8 a.m. Bata Library will also be closed on Saturday, January 5 and Sunday, January 6. Regular library hours resume on Monday, January 7.

Athletics

The Athletics Centre at Trent is open throughout the holidays with regular hours in effect, with the exception of Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, when the centre will be on holiday hours and open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Athletics Centre is closed on Christmas Day.

Holiday schedules for Group Fitness Classes and the Allan Marshall Pool, including additional family public swim times, are now in effect and will run until January 6, 2013. Check the Athletics Centre website www.trentu.ca/athletics for details and schedules.

Risk Management and Security Operations

Campus Security will remain on duty 24/7 throughout the shutdown. All building exterior doors, labs and classrooms will remain locked during the holiday shutdown. Campus Security is always available at 705-748-1333.

  • Career Centre – Closed December 21 at 4 p.m., reopen January 3 at 9 a.m.
  • Housing – Closed December 21 at 12 p.m., reopen January 3 at 9 a.m.
  • Counselling Centre – Closed December 20 at 4 p.m., reopen January 7 at 9 a.m.
  • Disability Services - Closed December 20 at 4 p.m., reopen January 7 at 9 a.m.
  • Health Services – Closed December 19 at 4 p.m., reopen January 7 at 9 a.m.
  • Campus Card Office - Closed December 21 at 1 p.m., reopen January 3 at 9 a.m.
  • Office of the Registrar – Closed December 21 at 1 p.m., reopen January 3 at 9 a.m.
  • Financial Services – Closed December 21 at 12 p.m., reopen January 3 at 9 a.m.
  • Advancement Office – Closed December 21 at 4 p.m., reopen January 3 at 9 a.m.
