The Innovation Bootcamp is Trent University’s new hands-on innovation and entrepreneurship program, where participants join a team, solve a real-world problem from industry partners, and pitch to a panel of industry professionals and investors for a chance to win one of two $2,500 prizes, with guidance from dedicated mentors across the innovation ecosystem throughout.
The program kicks off October 23, with virtual workshops running through Reading Week covering design thinking, business modelling, intellectual property, and pitching, and Pitch Day on November 3.
Participation is free and open to students, faculty, researchers, staff, and community members from both the Peterborough and Durham campuses. No team or idea is needed, you apply as an individual and teams are formed by the program.
To take part, apply by Tuesday, October 20. Applications take under 10 minutes and are reviewed on a rolling basis.
