Trent University Voted Canada’s Most Beautiful Campus
Aerial photo of the Symons Campus in Peterborough earns most votes from students in Academica Group’s national photography contest
Trent University has earned top marks for campus beauty in a national contest conducted by Academica Group.
One photograph each was submitted for 21 Canadian postsecondary institutions, images that showcased scenes of campus throughout the seasons. In total, the survey saw more than 1,600 students vote for their favourite image, without knowing which institution each photograph represented. Trent's photo, an aerial of the University’s Symons Campus in Peterborough (pictured above), took first place.
The result reflects what generations of students have experienced at Trent: a university where striking modern architecture, natural landscapes and the Otonabee River create an inspiring setting to learn and connect.
