We've got you! Join Academic Skills for a 1-hour ZOOM workshop on formatting in MS Word. Follow along step-by-step as an Academic Skills Instructor walks you through how-to:

  • auto-generate tables of contents, figures, and tables 
  • insert, manipulate, and maintain page numbers, figures, and graphs
  • elevate the appearance of your tables and headings
  • and (time permitting) more!

Bring a draft of your work and follow along. Don't have a paper just yet? No problem! We will share a document you can use to practice your formatting skills.

Note: We will be working in Microsoft Word. This program is available free to all Trent University students. You can download and install it via myTrent>Services>IT Services. Please ensure you have access to this program (ideally in the desktop, not the browser version).
