Connect with local organizations and explore the many ways our community supports mental health and wellness. Visit tables hosted by the Durham Regional Police Service’s Mental Health Support Unit (MHSU), Distress Centre Durham, Durham Community Health Centre, and I.M. Well. Learn how the MHSU’s collaborative teams of Police Constables and Registered Nurses from Lakeridge Health respond with care to individuals experiencing mental health challenges. Discover the 24-hour helpline and crisis support programs offered by Distress Centre Durham. Stop by the Durham Community Health Centre’s Wellness Button Making Station to create your own button while learning about accessible health and wellness services in the region. Finally, explore I.M. Well, a free 24/7 mental health and wellness program available to students, their dependants, and alumni across Canada.
