On October 1st from 10:00AM - 12:00PM the Equity and Human Rights office has invited a speaker and host to hold a Time in My Shoes workshop for Trent faculty, staff, and students to learn more directly about living with disability. The aim is to provide participants with a first hand account of what living with disability can be like, and emphasize the importance of accessibility to accommodate those who require it. By registering for the event and participating in the workshop, you can expect to learn more in depth about the challenges of living with disability in a society where so much is inaccessible.

Coming from the Council for Persons with Disabilities, we welcome Jason King who will be hosting this free workshop for those who register, leading the conversation and discussions around living with disability and the struggles of inaccessible systems. At the end of participation, certificates will be distributed to indicate participation and education on this topic.
