More Information

For 56 years the Peterborough Regional Science Fair has encouraged students from kindergarten to grade 12 to embrace and explore scientific thought and have fun while doing it! Projects require all aspects of learning including inquiry, experimental design and execution, literacy, math and art to create dynamic poster boards. Students take part in a friendly science competition, showing off their investigations. Over 300 students compete in our fair, which is one of the largest and oldest in Canada!

Every April at Trent University the young scientists compete for awards totaling $15,000, including the opportunity to compete at the Canada-Wide Science Fair!

We invite you to participate in our fair as a judge, by encouraging your children or family friends, or by attending public viewing on April 8th, 2025 after 11 am!

Registration to participate opens February 1st, 2025 and closes March 18th, 2025.

Can't make it to the fair? Consider making a donation on our website to show your support!
