Join us for a documentary film screening and expert panel on the financialization of the global housing crisis.

Join us for a documentary film screening and expert panel on the acclaimed 2019 documentary "Push".  

Push (2019) sheds light on the global phenomenon of the commodification of housing through the eyes of Leilani Farha, a UN special rapporteur on housing who lives in Canada. 

Our expert panel includes: Chiara Padowani a co-founder of the York South-Weston Tenant Union, Toronto and Christian Harvey, the Executive Director of OneCity Peterborough. 

The screening is free and open to the public and Bata Library Film Theatre is accessible.
