Event Details

  • Friday, March 17, 2023
    2:30 PM - 5:30 PM
The Great Hall - Champlain College

Join us at the annual Trent Language and Linguistics Festival, presented in collaboration with Champlain College and Trent Study Abroad, hosted by the Trent Centre for Language and Linguistics (TCLL). This event is a celebration of world languages and culture, giving all students interested in these subjects the opportunity to come together and learn.

The festival features a variety of exciting activities including student presentations, cultural performances, and global cuisine demos. In addition to the fun, you will also have the chance to learn about the current language and linguistics courses being offered, and what kind of opportunities are available to you with language skills, certificates, and degrees.

If you're interested in studying abroad, this event is also a great chance to explore the different programs available to you. You'll also have the opportunity to learn about the Peterborough New Canadian Centre and its role in supporting language and cultural learning in the community.

Our language and linguistics faculty and students will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about language teaching and learning. This is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate, eat, dance, and share culture with others who are passionate about world languages and culture. Best of all, admission is completely free!
