Welcome back to campus as we celebrate all things Trent!
Celebrating 50 years of Alumni Homecoming
The Trent University Alumni Association welcomes you to celebrate 50 years of Alumni Homecoming at Trent! Grab your Trent gear and get ready for a full line-up of reunions, activities, live-streamed varsity games, live music, and entertainment. Check out the schedule of Homecoming events, special reunions and more.
Celebrate On Campus
A number of events have been organized to mark the 50th anniversary of Homecoming, right here on campus – and alumni, students and the community are welcome and encouraged to participate.
- Rowing regatta and varsity games: Come out to support your 1Excalibur teams with lacrosse, rugby, soccer games and, of course, the rowing regatta (and centrepiece of Head of the Trent) throughout the weekend. View the full athletics schedule.
- Celebrate with the colleges: Social fires at Gzowski, a movie screening with Champlain, a musical dedication with LEC and the traditional scarfing ceremony at Traill, are a few of the events the colleges are hosting. A Bleed Green Brunch celebrating Otonabee’s 50th year is definitely one you won’t want to miss.
- Enjoy performances from alumni band, I, the Mountain, as well as Washboard Hank and Reverend Ken, Shahrazi, Michelle Prins, and the Peterborough Academy of Circus Arts – all part of the alumni festival stage on the Bata podium.
- Free buses will be dropping students off at Parkhill & George and the Simcoe Street bus terminal to help everyone get to and from campus safely.

Excalibur Varsity Games
As part of regular season OUA league play, the Trent Excalibur will host five varsity games at Justin Chiu Stadium over the weekend:
- Friday, September 30
- Excalibur women's rugby vs. Laurier at 7:00 p.m.
- Saturday, October 1
- Excalibur women’s soccer vs. Nipissing at 12:00 p.m.
- Excalibur men's soccer vs. Nipissing at 2:15 p.m.
- Excalibur men's rugby vs. Guelph at 7:30 p.m.
- Sunday, October 2
- Excalibur men’s soccer vs. Laurentian at 1:00 p.m

2022 Head of the Trent Rowing Regatta
The two-day Head of the Trent Regatta (HOTR) is hosted by the Peterborough Rowing Club. Cheer on the athletes along the Otonabee River and as they cross the finish line at the Faryon Bridge! Saturday's races feature University classes, and Sunday's races feature the Masters and Junior races. Visit the Regatta Central website for full details.
This Is How We Row: Fundraising Beer Garden
Back again this year is the Trent University Rowing Club Beer Garden, supporting varsity rowing at Trent. This 19+ event features performances from live bands and DJs from Social. $10 cover includes this year's commemorative HOTR mug. Alumni get fast-track entrance with their Alumni ID between 12:00 - 3:00 p.m.
