The province’s GO-VAXX mobile COVID-19 vaccine clinic is headed to Trent’s Peterborough campus with clinics being held on Tuesday, April 5 and Wednesday, April 6.
As the pandemic continues, Public Health is encouraging everyone eligible to get vaccinated. Being vaccinated is the best way to protect yourself, your loved ones and our communities from COVID-19.
Trent’s vaccination requirement (all students need to be fully vaccinated or have an approved accommodation to access campus) remains in effect through the winter term, following guidance from the Council of Ontario Universities.
The clinic is open to Trent students, faculty and staff as well as to members of the Peterborough community for first, second and third doses. Children aged five and up can receive vaccinations at the clinic.
Appointments for the clinic can be booked through the province’s booking portal or by calling the Provincial Vaccine Contact centre at 1-833-943-3900.
Appointments for the April 6 clinic can be booked online starting at 8 a.m. on Friday, April 1.
Questions about the COVID-19 vaccine, please visit the Government of Ontario’s website for more information. Individuals who still have a red and white health card, or who require assistance with booking, can call the Provincial Vaccine Information Line number at 1-888-999-6488. If you have additional questions, you may also contact your local public health unit.
More information about vaccine eligibility and proof of previous vaccinations can be found on the Ontario Ministry of Health website. You can also call the Provincial Vaccine Information Line at 1-888-999-6488 (TTY 1-866-797-0007).
If you were vaccinated in another country/province and have questions about updating your health records, please contact your local public health unit for more information.
