Monthly Sisters' Circles with Farheen Khan of the Women's Mosque of Canada

Are you a female-identified Muslim student who is interested in circling virtually with other Muslim women from Trent? Trent Spiritual Affairs and the Women's Mosque of Canada are collaborating to provide monthly Sisters' Circles. This program aims to establish a supportive, non-judgemental, confidential and safe space where women can share and/or listen while receiving faith-based support and developing the tools needed to feel empowered as a Muslim woman.

These circles will be held on a monthly basis. The second circle will be held Friday, November 26th from 11 am-1:00 pm. New sisters are welcome!

Facilitator Farheen Khan is the founder and Imama of the Women’s Mosque of Canada. She is also a member of Trent's Multi-Faith Network. An author of two memoirs, Farheen has worked in the anti-violence-against-women sector for the last 17+ years. Outside her work with the Women's Mosque, Farheen is the Principal Consultant of FSK & Associates - an organization focused on building capacity of community organizations that are led by and for Black, People of Colour, Women and other marginalized communities to create a more equitable society for all.
