Youth Leadership in Sustainability (YLS) is an innovative experiential-learning program based in Peterborough, Ontario that provides experiences and opportunities for grade 11 and 12 students to develop the skills to play a leadership role in protecting our planet. YLS is a Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board program in partnership with Trent University and the Kawartha World Issues Centre (KWIC).YLS founder and lead teacher Cam Douglas will host a discussion of the program and will share images from three years of field and community work in the region.
