With courses in everything from American Sign Language and Painting Acrylic Landscapes, to the Basic of Computing and Interior Design, all offered fully online, there is something for everyone in Trent University’s Continuing Education program this fall.

Registration is now open for all six and eight-week courses, as well as weekend workshops, which start as early as October 19 and run through to December. Courses span a variety of topics and interests including computing, language, arts, leadership and home improvement.

“Continuing Education at Trent University continues to engage the community, offering exciting opportunities to expand minds and teach skills through a diverse selection of courses and workshops,” says Dr. Michael Eamon, director of Continuing Education at Trent University and principal of Catharine Parr Traill College. “This fall term, we have adapted our offerings to be delivered entirely online so that people can join from home, in the Peterborough region, or beyond.”

In addition to the course offerings, the Continuing Education curriculum features several weekend workshops facilitated by members of the community. Spring workshops include introductions to apps for exploring nature, property management, and Wildlife and Ecotravel Photography.

Registration for the courses is available online at trentu.ca/continuingeducation, with courses starting at $190 (including HST) for the series, and weekend workshops starting at $50 (including HST), plus appropriate materials.
