Trent Athletics & Recreation has unveiled the first-ever Excalibur team bus, marking a milestone moment for the University’s varsity program as a new chapter begins in campus spirit for competitive sports among student-athletes, coaches, alumni, and supporters.

“The unveiling of the Excalibur bus marks a true milestone for our varsity program,” said Nathan McFadden, director of Athletics & Recreation at Trent University. “Our Trent Excalibur bus is more than transportation, it’s a symbol of our commitment to the student-athlete experience, to building community, and to proudly showcasing the Excalibur spirit wherever we travel.”

The custom-wrapped bus will serve as a dedicated mode of transportation for Excalibur varsity teams as they travel to away games and championships.

The bus wrap incorporates the Excalibur’s new rallying motto: “Defend the River: EXcel. EXcite. EXceed.” Alongside bold Trent colours and the Excalibur crest, the design also includes a silhouette of the Otonabee River, a tribute to the waterway that runs through Trent’s Symons Campus and the course where Excalibur rowers train and compete.

With the prominent branding, the bus will create visibility for Trent University and its varsity programming across the province and country, while ensuring a reliable and spirited travel experience for student-athletes.
