Trent University hosts The 2019 Federation of International Lacrosse, Women’s Lacrosse World Championship.   This Peterborough-based tournament welcomes teams from Canada, the United States, Australia, China, Colombia, the Czech Republic, England, Hong Kong, Israel, Japan, Kenya, New Zealand, Germany, Wales, Haudenosaunee, Ireland, Scotland, Chinese Taipei, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Korea.

The games begin at Trent University and Fleming College on Aug. 1, 2019 with the finals on the Trent University field on Aug. 10. They coincide with the Ontario Women’s Field Lacrosse Championship (Aug. 1 to 5), the Canadian under-19 national championship (Aug. 4 to 6) and under-15 and under-18 lacrosse festivals at Kenner Collegiate’s fields (Aug. 6 to 8).
