Trent University Saddened to Learn of the Passing of Evan Mackenzie Morrison

The Trent University community is saddened to learn of the passing of Evan Morrison, a Trent University student. Below is an excerpt from his obituary:

Evan Mackenzie Morrison on Friday, March 22, 2019, at the young age of 24. Cherished son of Teresa Morrison and her husband James Whetstone; Gilroy Lucassen and his wife Jennifer. Adored brother of Siobhan and her husband Chris Vanderboor. Half-brother to Jared and Amanda Lucassen. Stepbrother to Emma and Greg Whetstone. Boyfriend of Kat Ostotowicz. Loving grandson of Finlay and Margaret Morrison and Gilbert Lucassen. Dear nephew of Michael and Karen Morrison, Annie Morrison and Jeremy Kull, Jeff Lucassen and Marty Reaume, Carey and Dean Robson, Charlie Whetstone and Karla Springer. Predeceased by Thea Lucassen, C.C. and Ruth Whetstone. Evan will be greatly missed and always remembered by his many great aunts and uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. 

Mr. Morrison was an adventurer, environmentalist and social justice advocate who loved camping and the outdoors. Donations in memory of Evan can be made to:
