Meet a Trent Student: Robert Pazdzior, Biochemistry & Molecular Biology
Biochemistry and Molecular Biology graduate Robert Pazdzior wasn’t sure of what route he wanted to take when he started his studies at Trent, but after his first semester he decided that chemistry and biochemistry was the route for him.
“I’ve had the chance to get a lot of hands on experience through summer projects and my honours thesis at Trent,” explains Mr. Pazdzior. “This has given me a lot of leeway and freedom to explore and figure things out on my own but still with some great guidance.”
After gaining insightful experience while working on his honours thesis in Dr. Steven Rafferty’s lab, Mr. Pazdzior has gained the confidence to challenge himself and continue his studies abroad. Mr. Pazdzior started his Ph.D. this past fall at the Centre for Molecular Medicine in Vienna, Austria.
Trent University prides itself on providing an outstanding personal and interactive learning environment. This story is part of the #MeetaTrentStudent series, which highlights our many student success stories and the numerous dynamic programs offered at Trent.
