Full Details & Eligibility Requirements

Canadian students entering first year at Trent from a Canadian secondary school and students who transfer from a minimum of two full-time semesters at another accredited Canadian post-secondary institution (University or College Diploma program and only College Certificate programs where a special agreement exists), with an admission average of 80% or higher, are automatically assessed for Trent’s National Entrance Scholarships.

An average of at least 80% in a full course load must be achieved for renewal in the following year. Students are eligible for a maximum of four years of undergraduate scholarships in their first undergraduate degree at Trent University.

Final scholarship amounts will be communicated to students by the Financial Aid office. Scholarship conditions and values are subject to change.

Scholarships for Home Schooled Students

Students who are home schooled may qualify for scholarships if they completed senior secondary school credits and are using 4U/4M, AP or IB marks as a basis for admission.  Students who have taken the SAT test will also be considered for scholarships based on the grade translation assessed by the Admissions office.

Entrance Scholarships for International Students

International undergraduate students applying to Trent are automatically considered for Trent University’s renewable entrance scholarships, awarded based on academic excellence. These range in value from $1,500 to $3,000 annually and are renewable over the course of your undergraduate degree.
