Research Interests
The research in our group is focussed on the estimation and application of partition coefficients in environmental fate modelling. Computations of chemical properties in conjunction with the application of COSMO-RS solvation theory provides bulk phase physico-chemical properties needed for multi-media environmental modelling. The group emphasizes current and developing new methods for stimating, evaluating and applying partitioning in the determination of chemical fates in complex media such as soils, plastics, and polymeric media.
