Negotiating teams for Trent University and the Ontario Public Service Employees Union on behalf of its Local 365 (OPSEU) have reached a tentative settlement on a new collective agreement.

Both teams have agreed to recommend the tentative settlement to their respective parties. OPSEU/SEFPO will provide members information regarding a meeting to ratify the agreement. The settlement is also subject to ratification by the University’s Board of Governors.

Details of the tentative agreement will be released through joint communiques after ratification.

OPSEU represents over 450 employees at Trent University.
