Intermittent Issue with Blackboard Quizzes
Please be advised that our Learning System (Blackboard) is currently experiencing intermittent issues with the Quizzes module .
You may experience slow response times or Java (JSP) errors when grading or creating new quizzes. At the current time, the issue is not effecting students taking existing quizzes that have already been deployed to your course. We have not observed any issues with students accessing content, submitting assignments or logging into the system, and this issue is isolated to the Tests and Quizzes module.
Blackboard support has been actively engaged since the onset of this issue which has been effecting users intermittently since last Wednesday (January 7th) , and today is allocating additional Tier 1 Engineers to assist system administrators in our IT department. However, we do not currently have an estimated time for resolution, as any potential fixes will need to be evaluated and implemented.
