Study in Norwich, England at the University of East Anglia. 

Founded in 1963, the University of East Anglia (UEA) is a leading research-intensive institution located in Norwich, England. Home to around 18,000 students, the university features a 320-acre parkland campus just two miles from the historic city center, and is renowned for its pioneering programs in environmental science, creative writing, and economics.

Credit System

60 University Credit Units (UCU) credits per semester is a full course load. This is usually 3 courses per semester – each worth 20 UCU.

  • Module levels indicate the academic stage of study:
    Level 4 = first year
    Level 5 = second year
    Level 6 = third year
    *Undergraduate degrees are 3 years at the University of East Anglia.
  • Some Schools of Study will have limits on module availability, single semester options or additional entry requirements, such as in Literature, Drama and Creative Writing, Pharmacy and Physics. 
  • Students should take the majority of their modules (2 out of 3 per semester) in one academic school - ideally the school selected in your application. The third module can be from any academic school.

On-campus accommodation is available. Exchange students are guaranteed accommodation on campus if they apply by a certain deadline.
