Courses at Trento are grouped into subject areas, which offer the following English-taught courses:
- Social Sciences and Humanities Area - Business, Sociology, Political Science, English Literature, Languages (Italian, Chinese, French, German, Russian, Spanish), Law
- Psychology and Cognitive Science Area - Psychology
- Science and Technology Area - Math, Physics, Computer science
Courses recommended for exchange students, include Italian language & culture, and innovation/entrepreneurship courses.
Some courses (e.g. law, psychology, and the sciences) are restricted for exchange students with the same subject as their major/minor.
English-taught courses are limited at the bachelor level. Undergraduate students who are in 4th year may be eligible to take introductory Masters courses at Trento.
The Trento University Language Centre (CLA) provides free languages courses in several languages (English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian and Chinese) and at different levels.
