Located directly on the Rhine River in Remagen, Germany, the campus is easily accessible, sitting just 15 minutes by train from Bonn and 40 minutes from Cologne. The modern, barrier-free site features amenities like a 102-bed student dormitory, an on-site daycare, and extensive nearby sports facilities.
The RheinAhrCampus in Remagen is one of the three locations of the Koblenz University of Applied Sciences. Established in 1998, it hosts around 2,800 students and focuses heavily on practical, interdisciplinary education across two faculties: Mathematics and Engineering and Business and Social Sciences.

Exchange students at RheinAhrCampus can typically take courses from both of its faculties (Business & Social Sciences and Mathematics & Technology), but they are usually encouraged to choose modules from their registered faculty to ensure prerequisites are met and timetables don't overlap.
RheinAhrCampus offers a regular German language course every semester once a week. Students will have to do a week-long intensive session in the first week of their arrival to see which level of the German language course is most suitable for them. Students will then be divided into a class which best suits their level of German proficiency. If a student wants to study German on a more intensive level, there are many options for German language courses in the towns that surround RheinAhrCampus. These courses are varied to fit different competency levels (from absolute beginner to advanced), budgets and schedules.
