Why did you decide to study in Canada?
I could definitely see myself living here in future and I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to see what it’s like.
Why did you choose Trent University
I had some friends who went to Trent already via the Swansea Law program and so I was able to find a lot about it before hand, all of which positive.
What did you find most challenging about studying abroad?
I think a lot of the cultural norms were different to the UK which took some getting used to. Also the aforementioned weather was especially difficult when it got cold but it was a cool thing to experience looking back.
Were you able to travel?
I was able to go to a Toronto FC football game which I enjoyed a lot. I took the train which was very packed but the transport was simple to follow.
What is one of your favourite memories from your time abroad?
Playing intramural football was very fun, I would encourage anyone to get involved with the sports Trent has to offer.
