As a private university in South Korea, Hongik is widely renowned for having the country's top-ranked College of Fine Arts and School of Architecture. Founded in 1946, it operates multiple locations, most notably its main campus in Seoul’s vibrant, art-centric "Hongdae" neighbourhood.
