Applied Artificial Intelligence & Data Analytics

In this interdisciplinary post-graduate certificate program, you will develop a comprehensive foundation in Artificial Intelligence (AI), computer science, and information technology. Through technical learning in areas such as programming, data science, statistics, machine learning, and information management complemented by courses focusing on the social, philosophical, and ethical implications of AI, students will leave prepared to apply these technologies in a responsible and efficient manner in organizations across a wide range of sectors.

Designed to combine theoretical knowledge with practical, hands-on learning, the program equips you with in-demand skills in software development, data structures and algorithms, digital systems, business applications of AI, and enterprise information systems. Throughout your studies, you will build the analytical, technical, and problem-solving abilities needed to develop AI-powered solutions, manage complex information systems, and leverage emerging technologies to solve real-world challenges across a wide range of industries.

Offered at Trent University's Durham GTA campus, this program provides access to modern learning facilities and is conveniently situated to one of Canada's fastest-growing technology and innovation corridors. In addition to learning from expert Trent faculty members, you'll benefit from a supportive learning environment and a full range of student services, including academic advising, career development, library resources, experiential learning opportunities, and dedicated support from Trent International.

 

Courses:

The Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics post-graduate certificate program consists of 8.5 credits which are designed to be completed over four terms of full-time study, with a break in the Summer.

Graduating from Trent this year? As a Trent grad, you qualify for direct admission to our postgraduate certificate programs starting in September. To apply and register, just send a confirmation email to admissions@trentu.ca from your Trent University account. We will waive the application fee.

Admission Requirements: This Postgraduate Certificate is available to students who hold an undergraduate degree from any accredited university.
