Ali Vaezi 

Program Coordinator and Assistant Professor, Ph.D. (McMaster University), CSCP, CLTD, SAP Associate

Areas of Expertise: Supply chain risk, supply chain analytics, risk mitigation, emergency management, rail hazardous materials transportation, logistics planning, network design optimization

Ali Vaezi holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration (Operations Management) from McMaster University, an M.Sc. in Civil Engineering (Risk Mitigation) from Politecnico di Milano, and a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.

His areas of interest include Supply Chain Risk, Supply Chain Analytics, Risk Mitigation, and Logistics Management. Apart from his academic credentials, Ali holds several professional designations including Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) and Certified in Logistics, Transportation & Distribution (CLTD).

Hydeh Mottaghi has been teaching graduate and undergraduate courses such as operations management, logistics and supply chain management, procurement, statistics, analytics, and project management since 1993.

She worked several years in the Industrial Engineering department at Grundig Electronics as an industrial engineer, project manager, and consultant to the CEO.

She is the author of several textbooks in supply chain and operations management and has published various peer reviewed articles in international journals.
