How does literature help us understand some of the most urgent questions of our time? In this specialization, you’ll have the chance to take courses that investigate the way literature springs out of and shapes moments of crisis or injustice. You will learn about critical race theory, and dive into literature written by BIPOC, Indigenous, Queer, and Crip authors and authors from other equity-deserving groups. This will help you deepen your understanding of systemic inequities and the representation and expression of diversity through literature, culture, and theory.
