Flexible Learning Options

As a Criminology student at Trent, you can learn when and where it best suits you!

The Criminology degree can be completed as a hybrid or fully online program. Students can customize their learning and complete as little as 18% or as much as 100% of the degree online.

There are many options and combinations that allow students to design the learning pathway that best suits their needs.

E-Learning at its Best

Online learning at Trent University is like nothing you have experienced before!

Each course in the Criminology program is designed by a team of content experts, e-learning designers, and e-learning technologists who bring the material to life. Criminology faculty work closely with the Trent Online team to create courses that are engaging, educational, and memorable.

Students benefit from a range of engaging activities, interaction with peers and instructors, and small group discussion through the support of workshop leaders.

Intentionally Critical

We are critical and proud! Criminology students learn theory and methods to help them ask questions, think deeply, and contribute to social change.

In Criminology at Trent we believe students should feel empowered to challenge the status quo. You will learn the foundations of the field as well as their application to modern day issues.

Whether you want to work in law enforcement, corrections, law, victim advocacy or another related field, you will learn how to apply a critical lens that sets you up for success!
