Submit your ideas, reflections and opinions through online form by April 7, 2022.

The Champlain Committee continues to engage in thoughtful and critical discourse on a variety of topics related to the legacy of Samuel de Champlain as it relates to Trent University and the identity of Champlain College.

As we work toward preparing our final report, I invite you to share your thoughts, if you haven’t already done so. Please submit your ideas, reflections and opinions through our online submission form by April 7, 2022.

Thank you to those who have reached out to the committee, submitted feedback to date and especially to the students who participated in the recent panel discussion, Who was this Champlain Guy Anyway?

If you have any questions about the Committee, its process or principles, please visit the Champlain Committee’s website. You can also email the Committee at champlaincommittee@trentu.ca.

Regards,

Marilyn Burns

Challenge the Way You Think

Trent University respectfully acknowledges it is located on the treaty and traditional territory of the Mississauga Anishinaabeg. We offer our gratitude to First Peoples for their care for, and teachings about, our earth and our relations. May we honour those teachings.
