Description

Welcome to one of Canada’s most transfer credit friendly universities

Trent makes transferring easy. Whether you are coming from college, another university, or studying in another country, it is simple to apply, have your credits assessed, and take your next steps. Trent’s pathways and flexible credit options help you build on the work you have already completed and move into the next chapter of your academic journey with confidence.

If you already know you want to apply, domestic students can submit a free direct application to Trent.

The Trent Transfer Advantage

  • Supportive academic environment - Trent offers small classes, close connections with faculty, and a community where students are known and supported.
  • Pathways that work for you - You can apply transfer credits from accredited colleges or universities toward almost all Trent degree programs. Unassigned arts or science credits may count toward elective requirements. Get started by exploring our Searchable Pathways Tool.
  • Seamless application process - Free application for domestic students who have previously attended a postsecondary institution, and there is no need to apply for transfer credit assessment at Trent – your credits are automatically evaluated when you apply to Trent – at no cost!
  • Generous Scholarships - Transfer students are eligible for Trent’s automatic (and renewable!) entrance scholarships as well as other funding resources.
