Trent University is pleased to announce in-person convocation celebrations for alumni who were recognized virtually through Grad from Your Pad events. The in-person convocation will be held at the Tribute Communities Centre for all Durham GTA graduates, including Master of Management graduates, on June 2 at 10:00 a.m. Alumni who graduated between Fall 2019 and Spring 2021, together with their guests, are invited to attend these ceremonies.
These ceremonies will not be organized by faculty, degree or year. Alums will be given the exciting opportunity to celebrate with their friends, regardless of their majors. Traditional elements like an academic procession and crossing the stage in regalia will still be included.

Things to Remember
For a smooth Convocation experience, please follow the instructions below.
Arrival and Gowning
Please arrive at the Tribute Centre at least one hour before your ceremony with your student card (or government photo ID.) We provide hoods and gowns on the day of your ceremony, you do not need to rent them or bring them with you.
When you arrive at the Centre, please make your way to the lower event level for gowning. Here you will check in with Convocation staff and receive your regalia (gown and hood) for the ceremony. After the ceremony, you can take photos with your family and friends, and return your regalia and pick up your degree on the lower level.
Parking
The Tribute Communities Centre is located at 99 Athol Street East, Oshawa, Ontario, approximately ten minutes from the Trent Durham GTA Campus.
Designated accessible parking is available for guests with a valid accessibility permit on Red Tilson Lane which is located on the West side of the venue and can be entered from Bruce Street. These spaces are first-come, first-served and subject to all applicable City of Oshawa accessible parking rules and restrictions. It is recommended that guests and their graduates park in these lots or in on-street parking.
