Research & Resources Assistance

If you need help navigating the library resources for your research, you can ask for help.  Learning & Liaison librarians provide online instruction, guides, and give classes on request.  They can also help one-on-one.  There are three ways to contact us:

    1. Email us at
      • You'll get a reply right away, or within 1 working day (depending on our availability).
      • Email gives us the chance to investigate your options before we reply. The more detailed your message is, the more specific our reply can be.
      • If it's an technical issue, we'll have your account information from your email.
    2. Come to the Library Service Desk. See the on-campus service location during renovations.
      • Simple questions can be answered on the spot.  Staff may show you relevant guides or resources, or give you direction.
      • If the question is complex, the staff will call in experts.

      • This is the number for Learning & Liaison Librarians.

    As a rule, we're available weekdays 9:00-4:30, but sometimes we're around (or online) outside those hours. See hours.
