On each Research Guide for a subject there's a link to book the subject librarian.

• Click the link above to see our list of subjects and librarians.
• Click on a subject or a librarian.
• Click "Book Online" under the librarian's photo to select a date and time.
• Add details about your research question, so we can best prepare for your appointment.

If your subject librarian is unavailable at a suitable time, you can get general assistance from any librarian.

How It Works

A MyTRENT login is required for this service.

Most appointments last approximately 30 minutes.You can book up to two weeks ahead of time.

Librarian availability will vary but typically appointments are available Monday-Friday between 9:30am and 5pm. You can choose a librarian and a date/time from the options provided.

After you book an appointment, a confirmation email is sent to you and to the librarian you booked with. You can cancel or change your appointment time using the link in the email.

You'll receive a zoom invitation from the librarian by email at least an hour before your appointment. The invitation includes instructions on how to connect.
