Trent University is part of Esri Canada's educational licensing program to support the use of GIS software for teaching, research, and coursework. Current students, staff, and faculty are eligible for a Trent Esri account, which grants access to apps and software such as ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Pro.

How to Request an Esri Account
Individual User Accounts
AcrGIS Accounts are created when you log in to ArcGIS Pro or ArcGIS Online (Trent University Portal) for the first time. Contact our team at madgichelp@trentu.ca if you have any issues logging into the software. See instructions in our GIS Data & Software Guide for how to log in to the software using your myTrent credentials.
Bulk/Class Accounts
Faculty or staff can request accounts on behalf of a class or research team. Contact us at madgichelp@trentu.ca for details.
External Collaborator or Guest Accounts
There are options available to provide temporary accounts to external individuals or organizations involved in collaborative or community-based research projects. Contact us at madgichelp@trentu.ca to discuss your needs.
