The Archives Database contains descriptions of nearly all our archival holdings, with the following exceptions.

- Trent University posters, broadsized, and outsized materials
- University photograph collection
- Newspapers on microfilm
Special Collections material (published books) and Trent University theses and dissertations are catalogued in Omni (read our guide to finding theses)

Browse by Subject
Fonds/collections are assigned broad subject headings, which can be helpful for exploration. You will also find more granular subject, place, and access points in the database. These continue to be added to support browsing and exploration of our holdings, but are neither consistent nor comprehensive. Keyword searching may also be effective for locating resources on a topic.
