Open House Preview Events

Use the open house events as a chance to find out what the Trent experience is all about. Explore the campus, try a few lectures, speak to students and professors, and envision yourself as a Trent student.

What Can I Do at a Preview Event?

• Enjoy sample lectures from professors on today's hottest topics
• Talk to profesors and students about programs and degrees
• Find out from the experts about Trent's exceptional student services - from housing to healthcare, to security to on-campus dining and everything in between
• Learn about scholarships, financial aid, tuition and deposits
• Ask our Admissions team about the application process
• See our campus amenities
• Take tours of cutting-edge labs like Biology, Nursing Simulation or Crime Scene House
• Meet reps from clubs and groups, student government, Impact Leadership Program or social activities

 

Take a Guided Tour

Tours are a great way to see Trent University - current students lead a small group around campus and share their stories about why they love Trent.  

With enough notice, we may be able to arrange for you to sit in on a class or meet with a professor.

 

When Do Tours Happen?
Tours run daily at 1:00 pm at the Peterborough campus, Monday to Friday (and select Saturdays).  For tours of the Oshawa, please contact us at oshawa@trentu.ca or 905-435-5100.

What Do I Need to Bring?
Your curiosity, excitement and lots of questions!

Tours take approximately 1.5 hours. Please dress comfortably and appropriately for both indoor and outdoor.

Snacks, meals and beverages are available for purchase throughout the campus.

Exam Period
Residence rooms will not be shown on tours during the month of December or April as students living there will be preparing for final exams.

Preview events (a.ka."Open Houses") are popular ways to visit campus.  You and your family can take tours, sit in on cool mini lectures, talk to professors and students, and find out about student life at Trent.
