Centre for Human Rights, Equity & Accessibility Partners with Trent Community on Month of Commemoration and Celebration
November events and observances celebrate and honour diversity, equity, and inclusion
Together with partners across the University, Trent’s Centre for Human Rights, Equity & Accessibility (CHREA) is sharing and profiling several events throughout November that promote inclusivity, and support for our community, and aim to engage, educate, and celebrate the University's commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse community.
“Our commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion is deeply ingrained in the spirit of Trent University,” shared Dr. Rona Jualla van Oudenhoven, director of EDI at Trent. “These events are an opportunity for us to come together as a community, learn from one another, and show our support for important causes. Each event contributes to making Trent a more inclusive and welcoming place – providing opportunities for our community to engage with vital topics, celebrate diversity, and foster understanding and inclusivity. Join us as we come together to support these important initiatives.”
