You are automatically entered into the contest if you attended one of Trent’s many virtual and in-person events — Fall or Winter Open House, a virtual presentation, or a campus tour — between September 2025 and May 2026. You will also be entered to win when you  connect with us.

You receive one entry into the draw for free first-year tuition for each engagement. The more times you visit or connect, the better your chances of winning. 

The winner will be selected by draw on May 25, 2026.

With two campuses to choose from at Trent, we are offering two draws to win free first-year tuition - one for a student to study at our Peterborough campus and another for a student at our Durham Greater Toronto Area campus.

Rules & Restrictions

• To be eligible, you must be registered as a new incoming undergraduate Trent University student for the 2026/27 academic year.
• Free tuition prize must be used for first-year tuition in the 2026/27 academic year.
• The prize covers 2026/27 full-time fall/winter domestic undergraduate Trent tuition minus ancillary fees. If registered as a part-time student, the prize only covers tuition costs.
• This prize has no cash value, is non-refundable and non-transferable, and cannot be deferred to another year.
• Acceptance of the award allows Trent to publish your name as winner.
• No purchase necessary.
• The contest is open to legal residents of Canada, excluding Quebec.
• The winner will be randomly drawn from the pool of all entries.
• The winner will receive notification of the award to the email address they provide when registering for Trent virtual or in-person events.
• The award must be claimed by June 30, 2026
