In response to priorities established through Trent University’s Accessibility Audit (2012) of the built environment, the University has purchased an MV-1 vehicle in order to provide shuttle service for Trent students, staff and faculty with a range of disabilities, who might otherwise experience barriers to access in relation to challenges associated with distances, topography and pitch that are inherent in the physical landscape of our campus.

The MV1 is a free-of-charge service.  Please click the “Book Now” button below to book this service.

Two days notice is required.

As of May 2015, the MV-1 service is being coordinated by the Print Shop. If you have any questions, please contact:

Kerrilyn Sheward
Manager of Print & Retail Services

Phone: (705) 748 - 1011 ext. 1403
Location: BH 136

For booking:  a minimum of 2 business days required.  If you required a ride on a Monday, it must be booked by Friday at 3:30 pm.

Please be advised that MV-1 rides are provided by both the Print & Post staff (year-round) and Walk Home volunteers (in academic year only). Rides may be cancelled or shifted, with some notice to riders, if drivers are unable to provide service for a given time period (e.g. due to an unexpected illness or weather conditions).  Please be advised that service disruptions can occur from inclement weather, staffing and service of vehicle; these decisions will be at the discretion of Print & Post staff and are meant to ensure the safety of both riders and drivers.
