Trent University Oshawa Joins Durham Community in Annual Parade of Lights
Parade march a first for Trent Oshawa staff and students
Students and staff at Trent University Oshawa are already getting into the holiday spirit after participating in the annual Parade of Lights in downtown Oshawa on Saturday, November 16. Donning Trent Oshawa toques and doling out candies along the route, involvement in this parade marked a first for the Oshawa campus.
“Participating in the parade was a great way to connect with our community,” remarked Joe Muldoon, head of Trent University Oshawa. “We’re always looking for ways to bring Trent to the community – this was a fun way to stay engaged.”
Mr. Muldoon drove Trent’s new MV-1 accessibility vehicle, decorated with holiday lights, along the parade route, showcasing Trent’s commitment to accessibility and student wellness.
