Motivation as a volunteer - A chance to thank Trent for "everything it gave me. I believe the experiences at Trent both academically and socially have provided me with tools, perspectives and attitudes that I have used and continue to use to this day.

"Nancy and I are very keen on family and Trent has become part of ours. I have sisters and sisters' husbands who attended Trent. When Karen '78, Rob Hollett '78, Colleen '78, Jim Bishop '76 and Nancy and I get together, the conversation invariably drifts to Trent news and memories. We enjoy communicating with recent graduates and simply want Trent to know 'We can help!'"

Other volunteer activities - Cub scout leader, hockey coach/manager, executive of work-related association.

Message at large to Trent alumni - Stay connected! The Alumni Association has an open door to an extended family. We are there for you. You CAN go back.

Trent volunteer roles - President and joint-president National Capital Chapter, Vice President Alumni Association, committee member, Information session participant, Alumni web site development

Point of pride as a Trent volunteer - "The quality of people I get to be associated with through the Alumni Association. They are all working towards a common goal for the beneŞt of the Trent community. Being able to talk with students at information sessions, encouraging them to attend Trent because of the good experiences I have had - and then meeting them years later at alumni functions and hearing of their positive Trent experiences. This speaks volumes for Trent and continues to instil pride in our Alumni Association."
