The Office of Institutional Planning and Analysis (OIPA) reports directly to the Provost and Vice President, Academic and works in collaboration with the President and the senior management team at Trent University.  The Office's mandate is to produce timely, accessible information to all members of the University community.

Specifically, the OIPA is responsible for policy support in the areas of strategic planning, data base management, enrollment and market research, survey research and design, and the reporting of Trent University information to external agencies such as the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, the Council of Ontario Universities, and Statistics Canada.
