Trent International Hosts Principals and Academic Directors from Colombia
Delegation group tours Trent campus
Delegates from Asociación De Colegios Jesuitas De Colombia (ACODESI), the national association of Jesuit Schools, Columbia, were recently hosted by Trent International, while on a tour of undergraduate and postgraduate schools in Canada.
The group consisting of principals and academic directors from eight top private schools across Colombia, is touring schools in Quebec and Ontario, to learn more about the Canadian education system and to explore language programs, undergraduate and postgraduate opportunities.
“Introducing Trent University to the ACODESI group opens doors to new educational opportunities in Canada for their students,” explains Cath D’Amico, manager, Trent ESL program. “Trent University offers the ideal environment for students to engage and invest in their academic growth and expand their global perspective.”
While on campus, the group received a presentation about Trent University followed by a campus tour. They then travelled to Thomas A. Stewart Secondary School for a tour and a truly Canadian luncheon hosted by the TASS culinary arts students. The entire event was a collaboration between Trent University and Kawartha Pine Ridge School Board.
