Northeast Modern Languages Association Convention

Trent University was well represented at the 46th annual Northeast Modern Languages Association Convention (NeMLA) held recently in Toronto, with professors from multiple disciplines in attendance. The NeMLA is place for scholars at all stages ages in their careers to participate in programming that includes both traditional and emerging approaches to scholarship in modern languages and literatures.

Partnership with Local Hospitals Celebrated During National Nursing Week

In celebration of National Nursing Week, and in keeping with Trent’s commitment to educating and inspiring the next generation of nurses, staff and faculty from the Trent/Fleming School of Nursing spent the week visiting regional hospitals, meeting with staff and administrators, as part of ongoing partnerships to prepare students for success through clinical practice.

Interim Provost and Vice-President Academic Appointed

Trent University is pleased to announce that Dr. Jacqueline Muldoon has been appointed as the interim provost and vice-president Academic for a one-year term commencing July 1, 2015, as the search for a new provost continues. The University will continue to recruit and interview new candidates in the new academic year, aiming to fill the position in 2016.

Shifting Gears Arrives at Trent

Trent University has a long-standing reputation for being a leader in green initiatives.  As part of ongoing efforts to promote more environmentally friendly modes of transportation, Trent partnered with Wild Rock Outfitters and Peterborough Moves to host the 9th annual bike tune-up and barbeque on Thursday, May 14.
